Actually, I should probably add a little on subsequent events. I'll post it here because I tend to ramble on a bit ...
I missed most of what happened but I've got a fair idea now after reading around. What those young kids did was totally unwarranted, it seemed to be a payback but way over the top, and why they felt thay had to take it out on poor Nikki I don't understand. She was just there, doing her job, and also trying to be accessable to her fans, making the effort even though she was being overwhelmed with the sheer volume of stuff coming in. Those comments were nasty and hurtful, I hope one day they realize that.
I don't really want to say anything more about it - other than perhaps I'm guilty also of being a little too intense - I'd hate to think I was creeping her out as well - I promise, that stops now. Sorry.
